Over the past two weeks, the RiCON MagControl has been in full operation testing marine drill risers. With its innovative MagControl technology, the robotic inspection system enables comprehensive inspection of the entire length of the pipeline, including both the 21″ main pipes and the 4.5″ kill, choke and booster lines.
Particularly impressive: the electromagnetic scan pigs work so precisely that even thick-walled pipes can be inspected accurately, even when dry, without any time-consuming preparation of the pipes.
During our most recent inspection, we were able to test a total of 30 marine drill risers in a very short time!
