Our PipeScanner MagIQ PS13 was further Engineered allowing not oly straight pipe sections scanning in axial direction leaving dead zones, now also scanning circumferentially at bends and near flanges/T-Offs. Corrosion mapping scanning system used for inspections on an FPSO and impressed with its ability to quickly identify internal and external corrosion. The hand-held, lightweight MagIQ PS13 reliably detects general and localised defects, even through coatings up to 6 mm and in this case also 10mm thick different materials bonded or not. Ideal for fast scanning along the accessible coated or non coated pipework.
