The RiCon MagControl Marine Drill Riser Inspection System, is an internal robotic inspection system for main, K&C and Booster lines over their entire length with 360-degree coverage.
Using an electromagnetic inspection method, no special cleaning or water is required (dry inspection). This highly accurate method directly detects external and internal corrosion/wall loss with high sensitivity.
The high inspection speed ensures a highly effective inspection that contributes significantly to the assessment of riser integrity. Qualified by DNV and ABS, the inspection technology supports integrity assessment with direct defect size input.
