Inspecting internally lined pipelines—such as CRA-clad, mechanically lined (MLP), non-metal lined, and concrete/cement-lined pipelines—poses significant challenges for conventional pigging technologies.
CRA-clad and MLP pipelines feature corrosion-resistant alloy (CRA) liners designed to safely transport highly corrosive media. However, the varying types of liners, bonding methods, and material compositions make it difficult for traditional non-destructive testing (NDT) pigging tools to detect critical defects in either the CRA liners or the carrier pipes, as required by standard Pipeline Operators Forum (POF) guidelines.
At InnetiQs, we have tackled these challenges head-on! Our cutting-edge electromagnetic eddy current-based technology and innovative active sensing system enable highly accurate defect detection in even the most complex pipeline liners and carrier pipes.
Stay tuned—our next post will reveal more about how our advanced technology is redefining pipeline inspection!
